Direct selling is an effective way but I would distinguish it in the light of what is being sold. Most successes in direct selling have been in what I would call products that do not require physical handling before the purchase being made.

In terms of services the complete Business Process offshoring industry is a possible because of internet.

No doubt direct selling plays a key role especially in the travel industry.

Very prospective I would say.
