Golden Pond was not drilled this past winter due to insufficient ice. That was the information relayed at the PDAC presentation by Brian Maher. The plan is to drill it this season possibly from a barge.

In talking to one of their geologist at their booth the interest in what is under the Pond comes not so much from the fact that they think it is the mother lode ( not his exact words) but more from the fact that it represents a part of the GM that has not been drilled. Hope that makes sense.
