Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PTU) (the "Company"), announced today that it intends to conduct a private placement consisting of up to 18,181,818 flow-through units (the "Units") at $0.055 per Unit for gross proceeds of up to $1,000,000 (the "Offering"). Each Unit will consist of one common share in the capital of the Company to be issued on a "flow through" basis pursuant to the Income Tax Act (Canada) and one half (1/2) of a non-flow through common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle its holder to purchase one non-flow through common share in the capital of the Company at an exercise price of $0.08 per share for a period of 24 months from the date of issuance. The Offering may be closed in one or more tranches on and/or prior to December 31, 2014 and is subject to requisite approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.

The proceeds of the private placement will be used for the exploration program of the Company to be conducted to advance the Company's eight uranium projects located in the Province of Saskatchewan.
