One key sentence in the article:

"The EPA also emphasized that the findings are specific to the Pavillion area."

Other counter points also from the EnCana spokesperson. Nothing new here, the industry has always acknowledged that there are example of poor drilling practices but that they are the exception and with good regulations and responsible drilling there aren't any recorded problems.
