Nickel is in the same class as oil in that recent low prices are killing investment and supplies as noone is willing to mine ore at these prices. It will take some time, but prices can mov quite fast when inventories get drawn down so much and the demand balance gets out of sync. Just don't expect that any time soon as LME inventories are still sky-high.
