Blackberry Service Plans

Just a thought on the recent news released by rogers today. With the iPhone's service plans being reduced by 50% to meet consumer satisfaction, will the Blackberry Data plans be reevaluated to compete with the discounted apple plans.

On another thought. Existing iPhone users in Canada now running their "unlocked" iPhone have been paying ridiculous data fees since the only data plan available to rogers customers was the BB plans. I personally know someone who paid $800 a month in Blackberry Data fees using the iPhone which has no data compression. Will this sudden cease in BB data consumption by the iPhones as they switch to the Rogers iPhone plan on July 11th have any adverse affects on the security?
