(RMD: TSXV) Richmond Minerals is pleased to announce that it has completed a first phase diamond drill program on its Triple Lake exploration project, located 30 km south of Timmins, Ontario. Six diamond drill holes were completed, totaling 1,135 meters.

The drill program concentrated on the CF-1 and CF-2 properties to test 2 airborne Megatem II electromagnetic (EM) clusters. The Ontario Geological Survey in conjunction with Geological Survey of Canada completed this airborne survey in the spring of 2007. Additional EM anomalies, identified during Richmond's October 2007 follow-up ground program, were also tested.

Four drill holes were completed on the CF-1 property from which 315 samples were collected. Two drill holes were completed on the CF-2 property from which 77 samples were collected. These samples have been submitted to the laboratory for various precious and base metal analyses. Initial results are pending and are expected in early to mid May.
