Saw this tonight on Stockhouse, thanx to loosechainge. Seems encouarging from someone who claims to know the game. Is worth the read anyway.
I keep reading this stuff out here like it is the gospel truth. Nearly guaranteeing a 20-30 percent pullback with only one poster saying if it doesn't happen they will admit they were wrong. Good for them some dignity.

Give you a little background on Pat. GUY Guyana gold going into production.
Going to paste a little clip here from Aranka a company also in Guyana it got the dreadful 3.25 to 1 split last dec. with a merge to Pat Sheridan Jrs. Guyana Gold. Okay all you odds makers tell me what happened. Don't cheat and look.
"Pursuant to the Arrangement, shareholders of Aranka will receive one
common share of Guyana in exchange for every 3.25 common shares of Aranka. All
of the outstanding 1,700,000 options of Aranka will be cancelled and the
option plan will be terminated. The consideration to be received by the Aranka
shareholders under the Arrangement represents a premium of approximately 15.8%
over the weighted average closing price of the Aranka common shares on the
TSXV for the 20 trading days ending on December 2, 2008 (based on the weighted
average closing price of the Guyana shares on the TSX for the 20 trading days
ending December 2, 2008"
So I guess when you flip up the Guy chart you can see 2 things for the Aranka holders and all the holders of Guy.
Basically from the day that deal was done there was one direction. Up for all shareholders as Guyana moved forward to production.
I can type a little slower if you like but this is going to put Ont and Rmk in production I would guesstimate. they will be the first to pour in Beardmore and if Premier continues to strike it good even better some bonus coupons in the future. This appears as a brilliant move. The consolidation is a good thing long term. I don't think you will see a major pullback in the stock I believe by the time this deal closes a few more details of what they plan to do should be on the table and then a more rational thought process can extrapolate the upside.
Bought a little more today.
I would think as ONT/RMK potentially head towards production I would expect much differing results from past performances NOT!
At the AGM for Ont in casual conversations they expected some consolidation in the camp (BG).
