Unfortunate that revising the NI 43-101 has grabbed up all the focus. From what I gather, via website and speaking with IR, the company is still busy drilling, and data is gathering. The unfortunate part, is that the companies focus will be to remove government scrutiny in the near term.
My understanding is that the primary debate is as to which method should be used to determine the resource, polygonal vs linear. Both were listed in the initial NI 43-101, and the polygonal method generated a higher number (3.2MOz vs 4M). There was an independent geologist that decided the method. Now they are defending this decision. Again, my translation from a conversation. We will all have to wait for the results of the review, and see what is decided together as shareholders or potential shareholders.
Unfortanely, now we wait.
Better news later in the year, potential PEA, updated resource should all be events pleasing to behold. I look forward to reading about the economics of this ore body. The likely mill vs toll milling, and hopefully a potent round of financing to get them there.
