SRA Meets Sinking Fund Payment Requirement
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 14, 2008) - Pursuant to the covenants of the trust indenture governing its Series I Notes, Strategic Resource Acquisition Corporation ("SRA") (TSX:SRZ)(TSX:SRZ.NT)(TSX:SRZ.NT.A) has met the criteria for the second quarterly sinking fund payment of $1,875,000 due September 30, 2008 by releasing the existing sinking funds previously held in escrow and applying such funds to the September 30th sinking fund payment obligation.

Management will continue with discussions to restructure the Company's obligations and seek to provide a comprehensive solution to its liquidity requirements for the benefit of all stakeholders.
