SRA Unable to File Annual Financial Statements

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 31, 2008) - Strategic Resource Acquisition Corporation (the "Corporation")(TSX:SRZ)(TSX:SRZ.NT)(... announces that it did not file its audited consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2008 within 90 days of the end of the period as required by National Instrument 51-102. It has also not filed its management discussion and analysis ("MD&A"), annual information form ("AIF") or CEO and CFO certificates ("Management Certificates") for the corresponding period.

A determination by the Corporation's Board of Directors is expected by mid January, 2009 as to the Corporation's ability to file the audited annual financial statements, MD&A, AIF and Management Certificates and/or whether it shall seek a Management Cease Trade Order from the Canadian Securities Administrators as well as whether to complete a recapitalization or, alternatively, to seek protection from its creditors.
