And maybe there is merit to that -- for any of us who are still adding to our positions, low SP (for now) is good.

I don't see it that way. I higher SP makes us more expensive to take over. It would have allowed for higher prices during the private placements, and therefore less dilution. It keeps shareholders happy, makes debt financing easier, if it's required, and in general is a very good thing.
