"something tells" you - what slug??

rememeber the numbering of the holes is not at all related to when the drilling took place or when the cores were sent the lab or when the results came back from the lab.

The numbering indicates only the location, the year the geologist planned and numbered the drill location and the sequence in which the geologist did so.

i.e.: 30-07-06 translates to...

30 = hole drilled from level 30

07 = hole planned in 2007

06 = hole was the 6th hole in the series planned for drilling from level 30.
