LANGLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 8, 2009) - Shoreham Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SMH - News) held its Annual General Meeting in Langley, December 31, 2008. The following Directors and/or Officers were elected at the Annual General Meeting and at a subsequent Board of Director's meeting, the following appointments were made:
David Bending: Director, Chairman of the Board, President, CEO, Member of the Technical Committee, Member of the Compensation Committee, Member of the Corporate Governance Committee.
Glenn O'Gorman: Director, Vice President, and COO Member of the Technical Committee, Member of the Corporate Governance Committee.
Terrence Schorn: Director, Member of the Audit Committee, Member of the Technical Committee, Member of the Compensation Committee, Member of the Corporate Governance Committee.
Greg MacRae: Director, Member of the Audit Committee, Chairman and Member of the Compensation Committee, Chairman and Member of the Corporate Governance Committee.
Dave Jenkins: Director, Chairman of the Technical Committee, Member of the Audit Committee, Member of the Compensation Committee, Member of the Corporate Governance Committee.
Peter Guichon: Chief Financial Officer

Mr. David Bending, the Board of Directors and the shareholders thank Mr. Gerald Feldman for his services to the Board of Directors over the past year. The Company would also like to thank Mr. David Hammond for his services as acting CFO for the past year. Mr. Andriyko Herchak was nominated to the Board as noted in the Company's Information Circular but was unable to stand for election due to a recent event which would have placed him in a conflict of interest situation.
McGovern Hurley Cunningham LLP Chartered Accountants were reappointed as Auditors for the Company. Shareholders confirmed all other matters as proposed to shareholders in the Information Circular.
