You were a little off on that, Dick_Pole...it's not a good read, it's a fascinating read.

I always suspected that the 'free markets' weren't as free as we'd like to think. And I do believe the Chinese will have to use the hedge fund strategy to reduce and/or protect their US dollars. Ingenious, I have to say.

I like the part near the end where the author mentions that the $US is in a holding pattern before its inevitable decline, with gold set to take off. This will be excellent news for SMH stock. Hopefully the Canadian government realizes this shift in financial power and doesn't let our dollar slide down with the greenback.
