GARY R. THOMPSON, P.Geo

President & CEO

Mr. Thompson holds a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Geology from the University of British Columbia and is an active member of professional geoscience organizations in both British Columbia (APEGBC) and Albert (APEGGA). Mr. Thompson has more than 20 years experience in mineral exploration, including 5 years in oil and gas. His previous experience includes positions with Newmont, Encana Corporation and NovaGold Resources. He has been involved in geothermal exploration since 2000, when he founded Cayley Geothermal Corp. In that time, he has conducted geothermal property evaluations and economic assessments, and has compiled an extensive geothermal database of the USA and Canada.

JOEL A. RONNE, P. Eng

Vice President and COO

Mr. Ronne is a graduate of the University of Victoria, Department of Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer in British Columbia. Mr. Ronne has over ten years experience in the energy industry including duties with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ballard Power Systems, Canmet, and BC Hydro. Before joining Sierra Mr. Ronne was an independent energy consultant providing technical and financial modelling services to independent power producers, including Cayley Geothermal Corp and Sound Energy.

JEFF FINKELSTEIN, CA

CFO

Jeff Finkelstein is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of financial experience. Prior to joining SGP, Mr. Finkelstein worked for a number of public companies in the technology and mining sectors. In 1999, he was employed by SmarTire Systems Inc., a technology company formerly listed on the Nasdaq exchange, where he was Controller until 2002 and served as CFO until 2008. Mr. Finkelstein also held the position of Controller for Silver Standard Resources Inc., a Nasdaq and TSX listed company, and Golden Knight Resources Inc., formerly a TSX listed company. Prior to that, he worked in public practice accounting from 1985 to 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba.
