robert quartermain interview

robert quartermain was interviewed by jim puplava and the interview can be found at the end of the second part of the third hour:

rq explained the problem with the shortfall in production, as the jig tails had been sitting around and had oxidized further than the initial test work had shown, resulting in the low recoveries from 30-60%, varying from one pile to another. when they recognized the problem, they moved quickly to start processing oxide ores, and have now stockpiled a half million tons of oxide ore. the jig tails have been set aside, but they may try to process them at a later date. they are now working on the sulfide ore, which is what the mill was designed for.

given the startup problems, first with the delays due to cold weather, and now the jig tails, the market is adopting a wait and see attitude toward the company. the put/call ratio is now about 1.8, as the market is waiting for the company to show results. but the mill works fine, and if the pit ore yields the results expected from the feasibility results, the company should be on track.
