The recent price of Pretium > $12.00/ share allows Silver Standard to monetize a significant portion of their investment in Pretium and still retain significant interest in the project provided they maintain a large percentage of their initial position,

As of right now there are no numbers regarding the size of the secondary offering or the price.

If they sell 50 % at $12.00 they will receive 18,000,000 x $12.00 =$210, 000,000.00

This would still leave Silver Standard with the largest individual position in Pretium (approximately 20%) with representation on the board and no downside risk as Silver Standard will have received over $450,000,000.00 in cash for Brucejack/ Snowfield.

Seems like a good deal for Silver Standard as they would now have all the cash required to complete their development programs in South America.
