TORONTO - The TSX Venture Exchange closed at 2,642.49 up 19.89 points on Tuesday. Volume at 4 p.m. ET was 171.24 million shares.

Among the most active companies, Gravity West Mining (TXV:GRW) rose $0.005 at $0.11, Canasia Industries (TSXV:CAJ) $0.07 at $0.255; Sierra Vista Energy (TSXV:SVR.A) fell $0.005 at $0.03, Simberi Mining (TSXV:SAU) $0.005 at $0.05.
