Industry rule of thumb ...

posted on Dec 08, 07 08:32AM

... is one microdiamond per kg of kimberlite tested.

Santanas count was 180 rocks over 339.18 kg.

So tell me what does that tell you when you go by the rule of thumb?

Santana achieved about half of the industry rule of thumb for microdiamond encouragement. Santana halted their stock for this result.

It should be noted that there are many reasons for low micro counts when in fact there could still be economic macro counts. Resorption being one factor. Micros are more susceptible to resorption than macros therefore a low micro count doesn't necessarily rule out macro economics. If the rocks are showing signs of resorption then it may be necessary to carry out further testing.

Lets just say Santana has more work cut out for it.

Sola on the other hand has a different scenario ... maybe Santa Elinas Carolina caustic tests were accurate for micro counts ... who knows ... I'll tell you who knows ... the boyz. You see .. the further examination they did on the pitting program diamonds would have told them if Carolinas evolution had resorption involved. If so ... this might explain the low caustic micro count. Wait a minute though ... Sola has carried on with upsizing the plant and a bulk sample regardless of the Santa Elina results ... why ?

Well ... if resorption was indicated ... fine ... we then need further evidence that macros survived the resorption process ... well ... we have the evidence ... we have DD rocks ... we have pit sample rocks ... we have colluvial/alluvial rocks ... they are all macros !!!

We don't need further testing to prove economics based on the industry rule of thumb for microdiamonds ... period !!!

The Vaaldiam witnessed processing of Carolina kimberlite over a 2 day period using a jig which means mineable grade had a showing of 0.28ct/tonne of macrolicious diamonds.

Yes ... the industry rule of thumb on microdiamonds doesn't apply to us because of the unique way this pipe was discovered ... the evidence that has been collected by separate entities ...the knowledge the the boyz have from working the ground ... we are miles and miles ahead of these other companies.

Investors will surely see the difference in very short order. The bulk results will be mineable grade .. no more guesswork.

Refined micro testing will only be done to interpret statistical consistency throughout the pipe ... mark my words.

Too many people don't understand what is really going on here ... that's too bad.

Hey ... I am the first one to say ... if we are wrong .. we are dead as far as Carolina is concerned and it would put a heavy burden on the rest of the land package. The bet is that we are right ... Solas experienced team feels they are right ... Roger and his son feel they are right ... John Dupuis is smil'n ... he thinks he has it right ... Mr. Boyd must have looked at our rocks when coming on board ... his sharp eye certainly would know if they are right.

Heavymoney ... knows he is right ... Pfaff ... well ... if Heavymoney is right and the Sola team are right .. then Pfaff is right as well ... heck ... we will all be right ... but ... the most righteous of all will be Carolina herself ... take that to the bank !!!

While you are at the bank ... remind yourself about the other dikes and the other pipes ...the proximity to Carolina and the likelihood they all came from the same eruptive episode ... albeit ... potentially different pulsations.

Tonnage along with similar diamondiferous characteristics within a 2km X 2km land expression ... talk to me Carolina !!!

Call this a pump ... call it whatever you want .. understand one thing ... there is an industry rule of thumb for microdiamonds ... that is the first step ... we have bypassed that step by default ... we are well advanced from other companies projects ... we have very strong indications of success.

The wager doesn't get any better.

Quit focusing on the current share price like the group on the other board if in fact you are worried.
