I know I've discussed with my good neighbour before and I think its been brought forward on the BBs. The similarities between Mn and Diamonds and basically found in the same places. You notice on the mn powerpoint the global reserves of mn in South Africa, then Brazil and so on with diamond producing countries. I still think our diamonds are on a massive back burner. I couldn't seem to bring up the diamond powerpoint but I find it interesting what Propertysane was saying about the muddy looking sample. I remember back when they were actually excavating that sample, it was that never ending rainy season. My thoughts are, if they were being observed by Brazilian officials, what samples they extruded would be it. Good chance of all the elements involved the 4400 sample was no where near as pure as we all would have liked. Maybe that is why the SG was not at norm either. Too much native earth in the mix. If the relationship between Mn and Diamonds is as strong as I think it is, the Mn samples as pure as they are, the daimonds are just hidden around the next bend.
Some more food for thought, their origional mn claim is approx 3300 Hectares.
One Hectare is about the size of your average soccer/football field....k
