HHappy, you sure got the dander up at the other place, holy crap man. You mention that you got the impression, and it's gospel immediately, wow.
I will post this for everone to read as I have been invested in SLT for 3 years (in case anyone cares, the price back then was 7 cents).
First of all, and most importantly, let's deal with Riou Lake, because it is #1 on the list for anyone invested here.
The facts are:
1. They have completed extensive amounts of groundwork, including a flyover and grab samples, drill plans, target areas, etc.
2. Actlabs are saying that there is a very high probability of a uranium find. Not a sure thing, but the next best thing. This means that all indicators, can't stress this enough, are present, not just some of them. All indicators show that there should be a uranium deposit.
3. There are 2 separate targets, and very little difference in geology between them. This is great, as there may be 2 deposits.
4. Cyr drilling is on site drilling for indicators / deposits.
My Beliefs are:
1. They tried to sell this thing prematurely using the Actlabs report. They halted for days to try to get some interest generated. It was a well done news release, but there was no assays or numbers to swallow, just very high hopes. They did not draw the kind of attention they were looking for. I was hoping for some grades from the grab samples at a minimum, but nada.
2. Cyr drilling is on site and if they have stopped, which I will only believe when I am told by the people who know for sure, not some IR guy, they will have stopped because they have found indicators (bleaching, gas, whatever). Think about this very hard for a moment, if you have nothing after 3 drill holes, would you not continue drilling? 3 holes. 3. Silly to think you would stop drilling. I read somewhere that it is very interesting that if they stopped drilling after 3 holes, they only completed some of the program at target A. Maybe, but how would we know all three holes are drilled at A.
3. If they have found the indicators that they are looking for, the company just got a huge break. Some companies drill for months, even years looking for indicators. I believe that SLT did the right things up front to set themselves up well when the big dollars need to flow. I also believe that they used thier time and information very well to isolate the targets, and finally, I believe that the deposit is bigger than they first anticipated. Why the last statement? If I was throwing 3 darts, I would just want to hit the dart board, not the bullseye. It would be very lucky to hit the bullseye, unless the bullseye was, say, half the size of the entire board.
4. I truley believe that the SP will not move until they release some numbers, something concrete so that the bigger money can see it and want to play with it.
I read every post that HHappy puts out there, and you should to, because there is information in them that assists you in good ways. HHappy has always said that Assays reveal the company's worth, not maybe's and land holdings. Believe this and you will survive.
Red Lake North continues to be another topic, so here goes:
The facts are:
1. Rubicon and Solitaire are in it together. Solitaire is funding drilling and exploration for a 55% share, Rubicon is the land holder and project operator. Rubicon is in the driver's seat, for now.
2. They found gold in the drills. They are very close in proximity to Planet and Goldcorp's discovery. 9 holes have been drilled.
3. They sent the visible gold samples in for assaying, results were less than stellar.
My beliefs are:
1. They will continue drilling
2. The results from the other cores will not show much better results, if any.
3. They will utilize this data to do a better job of isolating the deposit on the next set of drilling. Yes, there is a deposit on this property, and it is pretty deep, so it will need to be a high grade deposit. They hit it once, now they have to hit it again, and show better grades, and then again and hopefully find the high grade part of this thing. If they do, this will be a company maker, and we can all sell our shares and drive fancy sports cars. I would estimate that they will keep punching holes in Red Lake North for the next two years, as well as Humlin. Hopefully that pot of gold is at the end of the rainbow.
My personal conclusions, as a share holder and speculator:
As a company, SLT needs to start drawing interest of bigger money players. With all of the properties that they have to date, they need to start looking at some JV's with some majors to assit the timeline on drilling and assays.
If you are at all interested in what a novice investor believes will happen to this share price, I believe that it will go up. At the rate that SLT is able to continue it's pursuit of it's properties, it is a long term hold. I would hope that next year at this time, it will have doubled or tripled from it's current SP, but I do not expect much more. All small junior companies have thier hands tied by many external factors (Lab hold ups, Driller availability, Interpretation of Data, etc.) Because SLT has decided to go about things on thier own, without using a "stroke" company JV or whatever, we will need to wait a bit longer to see the real value of what's in the ground. If you see a bright green Halo rising up from northern Saskatchewan, start buying more!
Feel free to comment and / or criticise this as you see fit, or take it for what it's worth, One guy's humble opinion.
