interest. They are now drilling the 3rd hole at Riou. My impression is that they are quite happy with the first two holes as it is confirming the geological model that they hd formed for the potential uranium orebody. That is NOT to say they have recovered uranium -I do NOT KNOW whether the have or not. Although they had originally stated they would drill 4000 metres in this program, I was led to believe this third hole will probably be their last on this program. I DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A NEGATIVE. I think they have ascertained what they were looking for in this area. The main drill program will be drilled by a rig that is capable of going much deeper than 400 metres to the areas of indicated major uranium deposits . That program will be in the Jan.- Feb. time frame. As well, I have had indications that we should NOT be writing off the North Red Lake gold play .Most of the material sent to the labs has NOT been reported on .The #9 core is still to be assayed as well and geologists say that the reported assay from the lab was poorly identified as to position and location in the core report so conclusions of an economic gold presence may be premature. Hope that helps in giving the general atmosphere from the geologists' expectations on the SLT properties. Again assays are the only true proof. But I am encouraged by their enthusiasm. |
