interesting take, major like to hold large % in juniors especially near their own mines/deposit just because of the blue-sky potential

Barrick owns 10% of TNR Gold Corp in Argentina, especially since so many of their properties is nea this junior it saves expansion costs later on... especially if the junior gets taken out, etc it also gives the Major a leg up on others competing for the area!!

As an aside...

Producer-hybrid MAI.to and junior explorer TNR.v will have an interesting resource calculation on very optimistic Los Azules copper projcet in Argentina by Q3 2008!!

Estimates of 5-6 billion lbs have been mentioned by CEO Allen Ambrose... !!

At low $0.20 TNR is frighteningly under-valued... make sure you catch its annual run to $.50+!!
