Always best to take some money off the table when a small cap rises and rises quickly. Then you can let the rest of your shares work hard for your money. If after your DD you are convinced the your stock choice is right, then buying back when the price drops will result in having more shares in the end for when the price rises again.

Banking a little for reinvesting keeps the compounding working in your accounts.
