The reality is that half the people on these forums are probably day traders, and they are probably the only ones making money.

Sadly, the other half probably wished they were day traders but can't be because they are in so deep. I'm among them.

Is the game not to make money? One of those respected posters you have talked about made mention today of stink bidding on Noront shares - 70 cents, 65 cents, and 60 cents. And he got all of his shares! Unfortunately the NOT share price is now 56 cents, and he hasn't made any money on these trades. But he will. Moreover, he's made it very clear that he day trades, and is proud of it. You can call him any name you want including "day trader"; but he's making money.

Now I believe you have also purchased shares before by 'stink bidding' - although you may not have called it thus. Let's be honest.

So stink bidding is an honorable way of making money. (You just have to have the guts to do it.) And that's what this game is all about - making money.
