OT question

posted on Jun 25, 09 01:00AM

Anybody know the approximate flying distance from Nakina, Ontario to McFauld's Lake? I know I could calculate the distance using a great circle calculator on the web using the latitudes and longitudes of both locations --- but I'm lazy. It's getting a little late here in Victoria, BC.

I'm a writer and I want to include the distance in my novel. The protagonist is in a Cessna 308 Caravan flying out of Nakina to find the murderer of her grandfather, a prospector. A little local color for the potential reader - if you get my drift.

Heck, why write a novel? you ask. Just as a backup for the million bucks I'm going to have as a capital gain when SPQ goes ballistic!

Thanks, Snug
