Love the enthusiasm, but when in history has the direct involvement of government in industry actually worked out?

I would be far happier for government to just make sure:

that they keep the province from going broke;
that they don't mess up the approval processes; and
that they direct Hydro properly, as suggested by Rallard (although the old energy policy will never come back...)

They'll be hard enough pressed to accomplish this short list...

btw, this is a mixture of sarcasm and bitter irony...
