Spooz, Inc. (OTC:SPZI), announced staffing increases in preparation for deployment of the professional version of its flagship product, SpoozToolz™. SpoozToolz Pro will be deployed beginning in January 2008 together with its related modules and algorithmic trading technology to the institutional and professional trading markets locally in Chicago.
“The addition of personnel is part of the company’s planned operational transition from product development to product sales and support,” said Paul Strickland, the Spooz CEO. He added, “We will continue to execute our marketing and sales plans through the deployment of institutional and professional products first, followed by retail distribution as company operations ramp up to facilitate increased customer volume.”
Operational changes to support product sales began during the fourth quarter of 2007 with the licensing of SWARM, an algorithmic trading system developed on the SpoozToolz platform. Spooz intends to continue with the development, sales and licensing of similar algorithmic trading systems based on its SpoozToolz platform as part of the 2008 operations.
