What makes you think that the mountainous region of the Stillwater complex is far cheaper to deal with?

Look at SWC's costs of production at the Stillwater and Boulder mines. The lastest financial statements from Stillwater Mining Corporation shows that operating costs per tonne milled are $156, while total production costs per tonne milled are $237.00.

This certainly is not cheap.

It is difficult to imagine that a resource like the Mouat resource with low grades of .5% nickel plus .5% copper could generate sufficient revenues to pay the operating and production costs as incurred by Stillwater. Do the math. Where is the profit?
