I requested the creation of this board so investors can better discuss the topics of stem cell research and how it will affect Stemcell, Inc., in the coming months and years.

As most investors are aware, the 2008 presidential election is of great importance to stem cell companies.  Back in 2004, proposition 71 was passed in the state of California.  That law allowed for state funding of stem cell research, which has benefited stem cell companies.

Now all three presidential candidates state they are for federal funding for stem cell research which could allocate billions of dollars of the federal budget to stem cell research.  Companies that are in the early stages of developing stem cell therapeutics will greatly benefit from federal funding.

Of course there are other issues to be discussed on this board and I look forward to participating with all of you.
