A friend in Alberta sent this to me. She says while she worked there many palm like trees have been found and other fossils, especially in the new Steepbank mine. As a child she would find trilobites and ferns in the valleys around Fort McMurray.

Nice to see a company that stops to preserve a bit of our worlds history.
