Sustainable Energy Files 2008 AIF and Updates 2008 MD&A

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 1, 2009) - Sustainable Energy Technologies Ltd (TSX VENTURE:STG) ("Sustainable Energy" or the "Company") has filed its Annual Information Form ("AIF") for the 2008 fiscal year ending September 30, 2008 and has restated its Management Discussion and Analysis ("MDA") of the 2008 Financial Statements.

The AIF and MD&A provide greater depth of analysis of the Company's power inverter technologies, the value of these technologies for the solar power industry, the size and characteristics of the addressable markets for the Company's products, its strategies to penetrate these markets, the barriers to entry into the market and the competitive landscape. The MD&A discusses in greater detail the reasons behind reduced sales in Spain and Greece during 2008, and the significance of the reduced sales revenues in assessing the Company's future potential.
