Chu to Endako via the backroad?

It's going to be interesting to see if the PFS recommends this back-road option (in pink dots).
The obvious route is due north to Vanderhoof, then west on Hwy 16, then south to Endako.
I have no idea what the condition of this backroad is but it would be interesting to find out.
