Traderdad, before i thought you were stippy and even more so now. can't remember now why but i do recall a convo on the stockhouse board where i think you forgot which handle you were under (not going to argue this as this is only an opinion).
TTM has a pure moly resource, MOL will have to pay to extract the moly from the copper. Just an extra cost. Yes Mol has similar numbers as per resources, however TTM is still exploring and extending its deposit and MOL is not. I am also pretty sure we have a higher grade of cutoff (i think MOL is .02 and TTM is .05). Yes MOL is technically farther along but i prefer TTM.
Also the way you word things reminds me of the way the presidential race has explained what either party stands for. You need to be careful when you say "Full Permits in Place". Yes they are in place but for only the time being. They will still need the following permits:

Mining
The Spinifex Ridge Project is required to comply with a number of State and Commonwealth
legislation prior to commencement of mining operations. These are discussed below.
A. State Government Legislation
•
State legislation relevant to the proposal includes:
•
Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972;
•
Agriculture and Related Resources Protection Act 1976;
•
Bush Fires Act 1954;
•
Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act);
•
Environmental Protection Amendment Act 2003;
•
Explosives and Dangerous Goods Act 1961;
•
Dangerous Goods (Transport) Act 1998;
•
Land Administration (Amendments) Act 1997;
•
Local Government Act 1995;
•
Rights in Water and Irrigation Act 1914;
•
Town Planning & Development Act 1928;
•
Wildlife Conservation Act 1950-1979;
•
Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994
•
Occupational Safety & Health Act 1984; and
•
Mining Act 1978.
The EP Act is the principal statute relevant to environmental protection in Western Australia. The EP
Act makes provision for the prevention, control and abatement of pollution and for the conservation,

preservation, protection, enhancement and management of the environment. It also provides for the
control and licensing of potentially polluting activities and is the Act under which the State’s
environmental assessment process operates.
It has been determined by the EPA that the Spinifex Ridge Project requires a formal level of
environmental assessment at the level of Public Environmental Review. (PER)
The Project has also been deemed as a “complex project” by the Office of Development Approvals
Coordination and as such is progressing concurrently through the Integrated Project Approvals
System process. Approvals that do not relate directly to environmental issues eg Shire and DOH
approvals, will be progressed concurrently with environmental approvals.
B. Federal Government Legislation
Under the EPBC Act, an action requires approval from the Federal Minister for the Environment and
Heritage if the action has, will have, or is likely to have, a significant impact on a matter of National
environmental significance. The factors currently defined as matters of National environmental
significance under the EPBC Act include:
•
World Heritage properties;
•
National Heritage Places;
•
Ramsar wetlands of international importance;
•
listed threatened species and communities;
•
migratory species protected under international agreements;
•
nuclear actions; and
•
the Commonwealth marine environment.
