Does anyone know how close the mine is to operational? Will it open by late 2009 or early 2010? Do you feel this is a good company to risk the family savings on?

I admit I am new at this business but am convinced gold price will be at least 1200/oz by 2010. Now am trying to find the best way to profit from that price.If I buy gold bullion money will almost double but had a person tell me to buy stock in a gold mine and money could triple or better.Is that true? Is this one a good investment?
