Love the values coming out of the Berg zone

RICHMOND, BC, Jan. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (TSX.V - TLG)
is pleased to report on additional results of sampling from the drift
excavation on the Berg and Rainbow Two zones. These chip samples were taken
across the entire face of the working. The adjusted width shows the average of
the results over the width of the zone, adjusted to a minimum width of 1.50 m.

Robert Rodger, P.Eng., President of the Company, stated: "The Berg zone
returned excellent values. On the other hand, the Rainbow Three zone, a new
zone, has provided less consistent values."
The underground exploration program is under the supervision of Robert
Rodger, P.Eng., the President of the Company, a qualified person under
NI 43-101. Sampling and assaying procedures are subject to a rigorous QA/QC
program, which includes insertion of standards and blanks for each batch of
samples. All samples were delivered in sealed packages to Eco-Tech
Laboratories in Whitehorse, YT for preparation and shipped by Eco-Tech to
their laboratory in Kamloops, BC for analyses. Samples that return values
greater than 900 ppb Gold (Au) by ICP were fire assayed for gold.
