The weighted average of all the fire assays and screen metallic assays from this 1-metre section in hole BD2011-184 is 64.1 g/t Au.

NEWS - Torch River Announces Gold Investment

Torch River Resources Ltd (“Torch”) (TSX-V: TCR) (FRANKFURT: WNF) is pleased to announce a strategic investment in Tagish Lake Gold Corporation (“Tagish”). Torch has subscribed to a private placement to purchase 1,000,000 units at $.13 each. A unit comprises one common share of Tagish Lake Gold and ½ warrant exercisable at $.21 for eighteen months from the closing date of this issue.

Tagish has a measured and indicated resource of 1,420,000 tonnes at 6.8 g/t gold and 131 g/t silver at Skukum Creek in the Yukon Territory.

Tagish is proceeding with a plan to go into production in 2009 with initial production of 50,000 ounces of gold and 1,000,000 ounces of silver on an annual basis.
