Where do you expect the investment money to come from to buy quality precious metals stocks? Banks and individual investors have been devastated by the financial meltdown. Their portfolio values have dropped, they can't get easy access to capital, and they have other financial issues that need attention before buying precious metal stocks. Thus during this latest run you haven't seen the outstanding performance that was shown during other runs in gold and silver.
