If I had to make a prediction, I would say gold is weak for short term, perhaps testing 850 range before moving higher. I think we're only in the middle innings of the credit crisis, so after a period of relative calm, people will start shifting into paper because they think the worst is behind them. But after a few months, we'll get hit with crazy news again and there will be another flight to safety in gold. Also, inflation concerns maybe more apparent later in the year. Right now, they're non-existant. Gold may proceed to $2000 late next year.
