I agree that Tyhee will do well in either instance but I cannot imagine deflation as the bigger picture. People are seeing crashing credit as deflation. They feel the government will not be able to bring an end to the crashing of credit and hence predict deflation.

The government (and it has no limits with a paper system) is determined to stop deflation. As a result they have put huge sums of currency into the system and continue doing so. This paper is now being held mostly in the banks. When this currency/paper hits the mainstream the rise in prices will stagger people. The U.S.A., while still a living entity, will become a third world nation practically overnight. But the time for all this to occur has not yet passed by. The article addresses the time factor.
