It's a basic point, but an important one, the higher the gold price goes the easy it is going to be to finance this, or any other, gold mine. Far more important than proving more ounces.

If gold continues in this strong upward trend, the economics of a mine will be so compelling, the banks will be falling over themselves to make a loan. It becomes a no-brainer for them because the asset backing is so huge.

I hear the Canadian banking system is still solvent as well, so that has to help. The odds are looking better every day.
