TYPHOON EXPLORATION INC. TSX VENTURE: TOO

LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - Nov. 18, 2008) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. ("Typhoon") (TSX VENTURE:TOO) announced an update of 2008 exploration work on the Fayolle project in Quebec.

The new discovery (Mc Donald showing) in more than 450 meters east of Fayolle deposit, demonstrates the potential on this sector of the gold mineralization.

Typhoon undertook several exploration works to target its future exploration campaigns. The following works were realized:

- Systematic linecutting on all property in 100 meters spacing

- Humus geochemical survey in 50 meters spacing on the linecutting

- Prospecting and cartography with sampling

- Second reading of core drilling

Furthermore, a new structural interpretation by Earthmetrix, a compilation of lithogeochemical results, the data of magnetic susceptibility (GDD Gun) and the magnetic field variation in the drilling hole (Flexit) were completed.

All the data was integrated into 3D Gocad followed by a new interpretation of the geology and the gold mineralization, what will allow the planning of a new drilling campaign.
