  • The screen metallic analysis returned 82 g/t Au for an average grade of 93.5 g/t Au.
  • Two additional fire assays on the original pulp done prior to the screen metallic analyses returned 0.22 g/t Au and 0.12 g/t Au for an average fire assay grade of 0.41 g/t Au. The weighted average of all the fire assays and screen metallic assays from this 1-metre section in hole BD2011-184 is 64.1 g/t Au.

Rob McEwen, BA, MBA

Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Board (BA, MBA)

Rob has been associated with the resource industry for 29 years. His career began in the investment industry, then in 1990 he stepped into the mining sector.

Rob is the founder of Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE:GG TSX:G), where he took the company from a market capitalization of $50 million to over $10 billion. During this time Goldcorp’s shares achieved an annual compounded growth rate of 31.26%.

Rob is US Gold's largest shareholder, owning over 21% of the outstanding shares.

Throughout Rob's career his efforts have been recognized with awards such as Canadian Business magazine's "Most Innovative CEO", The Northern Miner's "Mining Man of the Year", Ernst & Young's 2002 Ontario Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Developer of the Year.

William Faust

Chief Operating Officer (BS, P. Eng, MBA)

Mr. Faust directs US Gold's mining operations in Mexico and Nevada, including planning, development, construction and operation of the El Gallo and Gold Bar projects. William has over 30 years of engineering and management experience, particularly in open pit mining in Mexico and the Western United States.

Mr. Faust is a Registered Professional Engineer in New Mexico, and holds an MBA Finance, Management from Western New Mexico University, a BS, Mining Engineering from New Mexico Tech and a BS, Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico.

A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Faust also served in the US Navy and more recently the Navy Reserve, where he held various positions over a 26-year career. In 1999, Mr. Faust retired as a Captain (O-6). .

Perry Y. Ing CA, CPA CFA, B.Comm

Chief Financial Officer

Perry holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant in Canada, Certified Public Accountant in the US and Chartered Financial Analyst. He brings extensive financial management and reporting experience in the mining sector having previously served as Corporate Controller for Goldcorp Inc. and as a consultant to Barrick Gold Corp. Perry also spent six years at the mining practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where his responsibilities included managing the audits of large international mining companies as well as a variety of junior mining companies.

Ian Ball

Senior VP (B.Comm)

Since the beginning of 2008, Ian has been responsible for managing US Gold’s exploration and development programs throughout Mexico.

Previous to his position with the Company, Ian worked for McEwen Capital Corporation, US Gold’s largest shareholder, where he was responsible raising capital, structuring transactions and managing exploration programs in Alaska, Colorado and Quebec. Ian has played a leading role in various mergers and acquisitions throughout the natural resource sector which have a combined market value of $10 billion. He originally began his career with Goldcorp Inc (NYSE:GG TSX:G) in 2004.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours), graduating first in class and a Diploma in Business Administration (Honours). He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and was recently awarded the Alumnus of Distinction Award by his alma mater, becoming the youngest recipient of this award.

Stefan Spears

VP, Projects (BScE)

Stefan has been responsible for projects related to exploration and future development of US Gold properties in the United States and Mexico since 2008.

Previous to his role at US Gold he worked at Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE:GG TSX:G) and McEwen Capital where he was involved with strategic corporate transactions, financings, and other distinctive projects.

Stefan holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston.
