The volume leader amongst the junior equities was VMS Ventures, as speculators jostle for position ahead of more drill results from the Reed Lake massive sulphide property in Manitoba. Drill hole 2 cut an impressive 10.5 metres grading 11.19% copper, 1.39% zinc, 1.62 gram gold and 29.26 grams silver per tonne within a 43.05 metre section running 4.38% copper, 1.56% zinc, 0.85 gram gold and 13.09 grams silver per tonne. VMS ended the session at C$1.06, down C$0.23 on 26.7 million shares crossing the floor.
