Vangold Launches US Investor Tour

Vangold Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: VAN) ("Vangold") announces that pending regulatory approval it has retained Barry Kaplan Associates ("Kaplan"), of Fair Haven, New Jersey, to provide investor relations and corporate communications within the financial marketplace. Kaplan's objectives will be to expand the knowledge of Vangold Resources Ltd. in the financial marketplace by reaching key, innovative brokers, analysts, money managers, brokerage houses and institutions with the Company's activities and through exposure in the financial press.
Kaplan is a full-service investor relations firm that specializes in working with clients to effectively position them with current and prospective investors. Over the past 25 years, Kaplan has developed and executed investor relations programs that have proven to be very successful in gaining increased awareness in the financial marketplace for small capitalization companies in the United States, Canada and England.
Vangold Resources Ltd. has retained Kaplan for a period of six months commencing June 1, 2008, at a fee of US$8,500 per month, plus expenses. Vangold Resources Ltd. may renew the agreement under the same terms for additional six month terms. In addition, subject to regulatory approval, Barry Kaplan Associates will be granted incentive stock options.
The first of the meetings will take place on Tuesday, June 24th in Minneapolis, MN and the second booked for Chicago, IL on Wednesday, June 25th.
