  • The screen metallic analysis returned 82 g/t Au for an average grade of 93.5 g/t Au.
  • Two additional fire assays on the original pulp done prior to the screen metallic analyses returned 0.22 g/t Au and 0.12 g/t Au for an average fire assay grade of 0.41 g/t Au. The weighted average of all the fire assays and screen metallic assays from this 1-metre section in hole BD2011-184 is 64.1 g/t Au.

I really like the chance of drilling success at Esquilache, if you look at the links form the PR you can see that they have sampled mineralization all along the underground drift and a diamond drill is going to accurately capture whether or not any economic mineralization exists; which if you go the Vena website and check the project page for Esquilache you can see that this is an old mine that closed and has never been drilled.

The amazing part is that this was a producing mine and simply closed. Not Mined Out, it is all there waiting to be re-discoved by modern mining exploration techniques.



This and Azulcocha make Vena a serious contender for apprecation in my books.



Keep an eye on this as results will only coinfirm speculation
