There is that fear out there that the gold price will take its usual summer hit down to the $700 area so many of the small players will bail out of their positions before it happens. That may be why the share price has been drifting lower. On the other hand, the institutions will be accumulating all the cheap shares as this takes place. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they helped it along its way lower. The players will step aside until they see a low on the share price and then they will buy in. The expected news release from VIT is now a month old so I have to assume that Chad has gone fishing and may not plan for a news release until another month has gone by. We all know that he is well connected in the industry so the insiders are probably telling him to be careful. I think they are all crazy. The markets changed forever last year and will never be the same again. Paulson and Einhorn saw this and moved into gold in a big way. They are expecting to at least double their money over the next few years. I think they are right on track. Besides, the SEC and CFTC may bring in some heavy regulations against the massive short positions in gold and silver by the end of October. So what we may be seeing is the last gasp by the short manipulators before they are forced to reduce their positions forever. The main premise for playing a small cap gold stock is to buy low and sell high. VIT is very low so the only option at this time is to buy low and then accumulate and then sell high in the future.
