VIT has been added to the Allan Barry Report #26, a free subscription available at http://www.allanbarryreports.com. (Allan Barry Laboucan regularly appears on BNN.)

I have previously chatted with him at one of the Vancouver gold shows, while he was manning the Redstar Gold (RGC) booth.

There are 2 interesting tidbits about RGC that relate to VIT. 1) Michael McInnis (Gateway CEO) is a director of both RGC and VIT, 2) RGC owns the Anglo-American Nevada database, in which they generate projects from. Although Anglo wasn't a big player in Nevada, they did explore many areas in the state and the database would still be interesting.

Following is the excerpt from the Nov 2/09 report:

Victoria Gold Corp.

Victoria Gold is a company we have been following for awhile, monitoring their various projects. They have recently announced impressive drill results from their Santa Fe gold project in Nevada that has prompted us to add them to our group of featured companies. We are not shareholders of the company.

When we first learned about the company, what stood out was that they had several high-quality projects in mining friendly countries. Another thing we really liked is that they stay busy with the drill rig. An exploration company has to be drilling in order to make new discoveries or advance their discoveries.

The latest results from the Santa Fe project include thick intersections with promising gold grades and they hit them at or near surface. This is a good combination, of course more drilling is needed to clearly understand their discovery, but so far they are definitely in a very good position.

Readers that have a chance to do some research on the company, will find that they have several projects, and the common theme they share is they are located in well known mining regions. These are the key things we look for in any company (we are considering) and we like Victoria Gold’s potential on several fronts.

Going forward they definitely have a project at Santa Fe that they can sink their teeth into and we look forward to future drilling. They also have several other highly prospective projects from grassroots to more advanced that should keep them busy with the drill rig.

Victoria Gold’s stock symbol is VIT and the shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange Venture Market. Their website is www.vitgoldcorp.com. On their website you can find past news releases and additional information to do your own due diligence.
