Vior Inc.: Nomination of a Vice-President Exploration

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 23, 2009) - Vior Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VIO)(FRANKFURT:VL5) - Vior announces the nomination of Mr. Jacquelin Gauthier as vice-president exploration of the company. Mr. Gauthier, engineer in geology, cumulates over 30 years of experience in mining exploration. He successively held the positions of exploration manager in Russia, with Kinross Gold and Bema Gold, president of Azimut Exploration, and exploration manager in Canada with Noranda and Cambior. He was involved in three economic discoveries.

Mr. Gauthier intends to emphasize work on the properties located in the Douay area, which covers 20 kilometres of the Casa Berardi-Douay-Cameron regional structure that is host to the Douay Ouest deposit and to a half dozen of other gold deposits.

Mr. Gauthier will devote 50% of his time to the company. He was granted 400,000 stock options at an exercise price of $0.10 per stock option. These options are subject to a 4-month holding period and they will expire on April 22, 2014.

Adjustment to the exercise price of stock options granted on April 9, 2009

The exercise price of the stock options granted on April 9, 2009, which was $0.06 per option, has been revised upwards to $0.10 per option.
